Here are the ways you can get involved:
Bolton Digital Inclusion Activity Network
A group of organisations providing digital support across Bolton meet 4 times a year to share best practice and get updates on the latest national and regional Digital Inclusion Initiatives. If you’re looking for help to upskill volunteers and service users, this supportive group is a great place to start.
Current attendees include: Bolton at Home, Starts With You, Bolton CVS, DWP, Ingeus and Bolton College.
Events
The DES team organise 3 large employment and skills events each year with a great track record of success. We appreciate the support our partners provide in planning and delivering the events. If you would like to offer a helping hand to ensure our residents have good access to a range of opportunities please do get in touch at DES@bolton.gov.uk.
Bolton Job Fair
The DES team organise a large job fair at The Albert Halls which provides a free opportunity for over 30 employers to attend a job fair to promote their local vacancies.
The event is unique as we also invite local training, learning and apprenticeship providers to guide attendees through different approaches to accessing work.

Bolton Learning and Skills Fair
Our successful Learning and Skills Fairs take place in September in the heart of Bolton on Victoria Square. We invite local learning and skills providers with careers and employment support organisations to showcase their opportunities.
