Free employment programmes to equip Bolton’s residents with Skills and Opportunities to find sustainable employment through a variety of support from experienced organisations who will cater to individual’s needs. There are numerous providers in Bolton that can deliver support to residents inclusive of discretionary grants, assistance with interview clothing and work clothing such as PPE, help with travel costs, help with digital equipment and support in gaining any sector standard certificates.

Bolton at Home are a charitable, community benefit society who offer work clubs, training programmes, work placements and much more to residents of Bolton.
Starts With You
Starts With You are a subsidiary of Bolton at Home and deliver support services to the public which include Welfare and Energy Advice, In Work Support, and wellbeing, and employability skills support via their Motive 8 programme.

The National Careers Service (not to be confused with the national citizens service), provides careers information, advice and guidance on education, training and work at all stages.
UCAN Centres
UCAN centres, operated by Bolton at Home, offer a staffed place to go to learn and gain help finding work, using computers, find training courses and more.

Bolton Community and Voluntary Services are a volunteering service providing help and support to residents in Bolton.
