If you’re aged 16-24 and claiming Universal Credit, you might be able to get a six-month job with a local employer through the Kickstart Scheme.
Kickstart jobs are funded by the Government to offer exciting opportunities for young people to gain valuable work experience.

The Kickstart Scheme is open to people that are aged 16-24 that are currently claiming Universal Credit and are at risk of long-term unemployment. If this sounds like you, talk to your Work Coach about Kickstart and see if it could be right for you.
