National Apprenticeship Week - 5 - 11 February 2024 is a week-long celebration that brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
There is a huge array of apprenticeships available and they aren't limited to people age 16-24. There's no age limit to studying an apprenticeship!
Apprenticeships are a great way to acheive a qualification while working and earning.
How can I become an apprentice?
You can apply for vacancies through National Apprenticeships Service (NAS)
- vacancies will have entry requirements and a selection process to go through
- anyone aged 16 or over can become an apprentice
- apprenticeships are available for young people and adults
- you will receive training and work towards a nationally recognised qualification
- they can take between one and four years to complete
- pre-apprenticeships are available if you don’t feel you are ready for a full apprenticeship course
